The A&E Special (*The Hidden Secrets of Harry Potter*) that aired the other night is up on YouTube. I was thrilled by that, since I wouldn't have been able to see it otherwise. And I was particularly happy to see it since two of the HP experts which were prominently featured are John Granger and Janet Batchler, wonderful folks I've gotten to know in discussion groups over the past few years.

It also struck me as highly interesting that all three of the HP experts tapped for this show: John, Janet and Steve VanderArk from the Harry Potter lexicon, are Christians. Seems to me that Christians are "getting at" the deeper themes in these books better than anyone else, which makes a backward kind of case for the fact that there are deeply Christian themes to be gotten. :-)
Anyway, it's a very fun show with terrific montages of clips from all the movies thus far. Happy viewing!
